First of all, i use the complementary scheme to represent the contrast toward the contradiction between the sedate and optimistic. However, it is not harmonious.


Complementary scheme with lower value:

As a second trial, i try to lower down both value to reduce the contrast.
Complementary scheme of different tint and shade is used.
